Integral’s Fragrant Hill Garden Joins ICCBG
We are pleased to announce that the Fragrant Hill Garden at Integral, China’s first specialized botanical garden for natural dye plants and a pioneering research center for natural dyeing techniques, has officially become a part of the Initiative for Collective Conservation in Chinese Botanical Gardens (ICCBG). Supported by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other leading institutions, ICCBG serves as a collaborative platform that enhances conservation efforts, fosters knowledge exchange, and advances ecological sustainability and innovation-driven development.
Integral’s Fragrant Hill Garden has officially joined ICCBG
As a pioneering hub for the industrialization of traditional dye plants and the preservation of natural dyeing techniques, Fragrant Hill Garden has successfully introduced and cultivated more than 100 species of dye plants. Through ex situ conservation, the garden systematically preserves botanically, historically, and culturally significant plant varieties,safeguarding the heritage of natural dyes.
